Sioux Falls, S.D December 16, 2015 – The South Dakota Technology Business
Center(SDTBC), an entrepreneurship organization serving emerging businesses, today announced that Abby Parker has joined the staff as client care specialist. Her appointment rounds out the dedicated full-time team in addition to the three recently announced entrepreneurs-on-staff.
Parker joined the South Dakota Technology Business Center in September 2015 and handles the day-to-day activity of the center. As the primary point of contact, Abby strives to create an engaging environment where entrepreneurs have the tools they need to focus on their business growth.
Prior to the SDTBC, Abby spent five years at the Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union, beginning as a teller, moving to head teller and then to personal loan officer. With a focus on customer service, she provided guidance and tools to help her customers achieve significant personal financial goals. She also worked as a leading sales representative for a property casualty insurance company and a commercial power tool supplier.
In addition to serving as the point person for visitors and clients of the South Dakota Technology Business Center; her duties include front desk reception, administrative services and bookkeeping.

This latest position resulted from a recent strategic planning process and client-focused strategy to foster entrepreneurship and innovation. The recently announced Entrepreneurs-On-Site program is also part of this initiative, as well as an extensive remodel and rebranding to be revealed in first quarter of 2016.
